EDDIE W. PIKE
Command Sergeant Major Eddie W. Pike assumed his duties as the 6th State Command Sergeant Major of Alabama May 9, 2011. As the State CSM, he is the principle senior advisor to the Adjutant General on enlisted affairs of the Alabama National Guard. He carries out policies and standards of performance, training, appearance and conduct of enlisted soldiers.
Command Sergeant Major Pike began his National Guard career enlisting in Roanoke, Ala., in October 1971 where he served 20 years attaining the rank of sergeant first class. CSM Pike held several positions in his career, including 1SG Service Battery 3rd Battalion 117th Field Artillery, CSM 2nd Battalion 117th Field Artillery, CSM 278th Chemical Battalion, CSM 3rd Battalion 117th Field Artillery, Brigade CSM 621st Troop Support Command, and Brigade CSM 142nd Battlefield Surveillance Brigade.
